• Mugu (Rara Lake) is a remote himalayan region in the district of Karnali Zone in the Mid-western part of Nepal. This region comprises of rugged topography and does not have modernized transportation facilities, yet it plays a significant role in the history of Nepal.Rara Lake, which is Nepal's largest and deepest lake happens to be free from pollutants and the water is crystal clean. This route presents us varieties of wild-life, a vast froest of herbal plants and rhododendrons. This route also inhabits the rare musk deer, antelope, mountain goats, bears, wolves and snow leopards and many other animals. The route emerges throught high Himalayan range, vallays and villages with unique landscape and cultural heritage, natural and cultural attraction. On crossing Jumla, we reach the Rara Lake, we then make way across Mugu, Dhulphu and the Dhulphu la pass and then returen to Jumla, from where we can also visit the upper dolpo side. In this area we require special permit for trekking.This is a 28 days trek in which is trekker is supposed to walk for 19 days.

    Day 02.                       
    Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel. Free day

    Day 03.                       
    Kathmandu to Nepaljung O/N Hotel.

    Day 04.                       
    Nepaljung a Jumla ( 2370m.) par avion et campement.

    Day 05.            
    Jumla a Khali ( 3400m.)  Traversee du village Ghumurti et passage du col  Chele (3620m.) puis descente sur khali. 7h30 walk.

    Day 06.           
    Khali to Chautha ( 2770m.) Descente Walk down via Thudamara, Heran Dhuski and Nyauryand walk up start till Khavre and walk up to start to get Chautha. 7h walk.

    Day 07.           
    Chautha to Dhoto (2380m.)  walk up via chante Chaur, Bhulbhule and Gurchipass ( 3460m.) and steep down till Dhoto 6h30 walk.

    Day 08.           
    Dhoto to Rara Lake ( 3060m.) steep up hil via Jyari, Ridge top  and walk starte  till Rara lake  6h walk.

    Day 09.           
    Rara Lake to Lumsa ( 2080m.) walk down all day via Gamgahi village. 7h30 walk

    Day 10.           
    Lumsa to Mangrl ( 2380m.) walk via Chala along the Mugu Karnali riverall day  6h30 walk.

    Day 11.           
    Mangrl to Simal Chour (2680m.) walk via Pulu along via river of Karnali camp  6h walk.

    Day 12.           
    Simal chour to Mugu gaun ( 3500m.) walk up via Mugu River camp 6h walk.

    Day 13.           
    Mugu Gaoun to Chauri or Chutei ( 3430m.) walk down till the bridge (2800m.) and walk up till chutei camp 6h walk.

    Day 14.           
    Chutei to Dolphu ( 3550m.) walk up via forest hill pass ( 4080m.) and steep down to Chanata Khola  7h walk. camp

    Day 15.           
    Dolphu to Wangri (3400m.)  walk down till Namlang River (2880m.)and walk up till wangri 5h walk.

    Day 16.           
    Wangri to Paphu Kharka walk up in forest and after Alplage with Yaks 5h walk

    Day 17.           
    Paphu Kharka to Kang-La B.C. ( 4500m.) walk up and  cross via Monlang pass ( 4965m.) walk down till Rocky path camp 7h walk.

    Day 18.           
    Kang-La B.C. to Chuine ( 3750m.) cross via Kangla ( 4765m.) nice "cascades" walk down till camp 7h walk.

    Day 19.           
    Chuine to Mahari Gaoun (3100m.) cross via pass ( 4470m.) and walk down till camp 7h walk.

    Day 20.           
    Mahari Gaoun to Matha Chour ( 2900m.) walk down via Talpi along the river and very nice village, Gradually up till camp. 6h walk.

    Day 21.           
    Matha Chour to Naphukana ( 2990m.) walk up along the river and down hill through the forest 6h30 walk

    Day 22.           
    Naphukana to Gothi Chaur ( 2780m.) walk down along the river cross via Pattyal pass camp 6h30 walk .

    Day 23.           
    Gothi Chaur to Jumla . walk down hill via Dochal gara Jwardwala along the dusty road camp  6h30 walk .

    Day 24.           
    Jumla to Kathmandu by flight via Nepaljung stop for change plan.

    Day 25.           
    Kathmandu free day if problem of weather for flight.

    Day 26.           
    Kathmandu free day

    Departure from Kathmandu

    Day 28.           
    Arrival at own country
