• Ganesh Himal is a sub-range of the Himalaya mountain range. It is located mostly in the North Central Nepal but some peaks lie on the border with Tibet. The range lies about 70kms north-west of Kathmandu.This voyage is recommended for many trekkers although it is not as popular as Annapurna and Everest.It is famous for the Tamang Culture, for its spectacular mountain sights, forest of rhododendron and for its convenient distance from Kathmandu. This is a 21 days trek in which is trekker is supposed to walk for 14 days.

  • Day 01.                       
    Departure from own country.

    Day 02.           
    Arrival to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.

    Day 03.           
    Visit Pasupatinath, Boudhanath and Swoyambunath. Evening briefing about trek.

    Day 04.           
    Kathmandu / Trishuli. Drive and same day trek up to Salangkhu Khola.  We will reach Trishuli in the morning and have lunch, close to the Trishuli.  After lunch we movefor approximately 3 hours to Salangkhu Khola and camp there. 

    Day 05.           
    Salangkhu Khola / Balche.  An easy walk to reach the village of Kalawale for the lunch.  After lunch we proceed to the large village of Tamang in Balache for our camp during the night. 

    Day 06.           
    Balache / Gonga.  We take an easy walk to village of Balache through a forest and  camp amidst the peaks of Langtang Lirung and Gosaikunda which provides a wonderful sight. 

    Day 07.           
    Gonga / Singla.  We move across a forests of rhododendron and  to the camp at Singla or Rupche.Rupche is a cattle-grazing place and Singla is the pass. The pass of Singla offers spectacular sights of Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal peak of Buddha, Himal Chuli, Machhapuchre, Annapurna of the south and Annapurna 2. 

    Day 08.           
    Singla / Pangsang.  We go to the top of the hill of Singla following the small trails in Pangsang for our camp lasting during the night.  The sight from here is spectacular.

    Day 09.                       
    Pangsang / Shomthang.  We follow the edge for our camp-site at Shomthang. Here we get the sight of Ganesh Himal.

    Day 10.           
    Shomthang / Lake Jogeshwarkund.  Maintaining under the catch to raise progressive so as to reach our camp-site near the lake Jogeshwarkund, (sometimes moving from Shomthang towards the lake Jogeshwarkung is not possible due to the formation of army.) 

    Day 11.           
    The day of rest.can meet the interested people of lake Jogeshwarkund,the rock and the peak rising above 5000m.

    Day 12.           
    Visit Paldor Base camp.

    Day 13.           
    Paldor base camp  / Linju Khola. Today we begin our descent with Linju Khola for our next camp. 

    Day 14.           
    Village of Linju Khola / Serthung.  We go downwards through a forests of rhododendron and pine trees to a village and install the Serthung camp with good sights of mountains in round.Serthung is a village of Tamang culture

    Day 15.           
    Serthung / Laba.  A trail short punt and then a progressive descent passing althrough the village of Barang  and tyhen on crossing Akhu Khola,we are carried to Laba, a large village of the Tamang. 

    Day 16.           
    Laba / Mongeythanti.We ascend  slightly to cross a hill and then descend from the forests to camp at Mongeythanti. 

    Day 17.           
    Village of Mongeythanti / Soti Khola.  A progressive walk through forests will lead us to our camp at soti Khola. 

    Day 18.           
    Soti Khola to Arughat by jeep and bus to Kathmadu.

    Day 19.           
    Free day  KTM. 

    Day 20.           
    Departure from Kathmandu.

    Day 21.                       
    Arrival at own country.
