• This trek begins at Gorkha and very soon we find ourselves on the Tsum valley, well know for its Tibetan culture. This valley is a sacred Himalayan Pilgrimage valley situated in the northern Gorkha,Nepal. The word 'Tsum' comes from the Tibetan word 'Tsombo' which means vivid. This valley is uniquely rich in wildlife, especially ghoral and tahr. But however, hunting is not permitted in this valley.Since this valley is located quite close to Tibet, yak caravans are very common in this area.Along with the view of Manaslu the 8th highest peak in the world, we move alongside the river banks of Marshaydi and we end our trek one the foothills of Lamjung himal. This area requires spcial permit for trekking.
